Mutate Britain Launch - 20th November

Thursday 20th November saw the launch of Mutate Britain @ Behind The Shutters Gallery, Cordy House, Shoreditch. WOW! What a launch. The queue outside virtually closed Curtain Road!

On approach to Cordy house you could see three bright green tenticals draping over the building from the roof top, 4 storeys high! Once inside, the Mutoid Waste guys didn’t fail to impress and Part2ism’s centrepiece (a massive wing panel) is definitely worth making a trip to Cordy House, just to see in person. Part2ism is exhibiting original canvas pieces into Jibbering Art’s show 0121, which launches at Mutate Britain on 4th December.

The Shambala Art Exhbition - The Final Show, Launch Night.

Yet again, Jibbering combined their love for art with their love of music. The old Wild’s warehouse was the perfect backdrop for the show, with the Jibbering Dj’s supplying the perfect grooves to accompany the spectacular art that the Shambala Art exhibition has to offer.

The YrWall was enjoyed by all during the launch night. The YrWall is a new and exciting interactive drawing tool where users create images on a large wall using a modified spray paint can. The can contains no paint, only a button and an infrared light which is tracked using a computer and a camera. A digital palette is provided on the left side of the wall which enables the user to work with digital paint, images and animated clips. For more information click here.
