Launch of 51 Degrees

After the usual last minute dash to get the exhibition open on time…..

Thursday 23rd April (St George’s Day)

saw the launch of Fifty One Degrees,

Chu’s solo exhibition @ The Wild Building, Digbeth, Birmingham.

The Fifty One Collection which charts the journey from Walsall - Birmingham along the 51 Bus Route are simply breathtaking. Painted on aluminium sheeting, Chu has used various mediums to create abstract views along this “flagship” bus route. The 51 Collection and prints for sale during this exhibition will be uploaded onto our current exhibition page shortly.

It is brilliant to see Chu’s new body of work alongside a collection of his work produced over the last 10 years!

Including a full set of Fungle Junk flyers - many of us in Birmingham have fond memories of these…..

and an entire back catalogue of “Your Mum Rang” stickers on display!

Thank you to everyone who came to the launch night and showed their support.

Chu & Others take wall in Birmingham

Chu, Energy, Zoot, Newso, Philth & N4T4 all got together on Easter Saturday to take the Rainbow Warehouse boundary wall.

The Adderley Street side of the wall pings at you, it looks like Newso’s fists are smashing section’s of Zoot’s trademark Z and Philth’s figure and starfish intermingle between it all. Energy & Chu took the Lower Trinity Street side of the wall.

Chu’s new sign looks really crisp, loving the fact that he even lined up the lamp post that obstructs the view from over the road!!

Really excited about Chu’s imminent exhibition, 51 Degrees which launches on St Georges Day, 23rd April from 6pm and then runs for two weeks.
